Senior Digital Media Specialist
Position Summary
The media landscape continues to change daily, and the media team at DMH is responsible for staying abreast of evolving trends and helping our clients solve problems across all media types. To assist in this endeavor, DMH is seeking a Senior Digital Media Specialist who has a proficient background in paid digital media with an emphasis on paid search. This role will be responsible for all paid search strategy, activation, management, analysis, optimization, measurement, tracking, and reporting. Additionally, this person will work alongside other paid media team members to inform strategies and provide support as-needed with other auction-based digital media channels including programmatic and paid social. This is a client facing role and the Senior Digital Media Specialist will be responsible for maintaining client relationships as well as collaborating with internal teams. This position reports to the Paid Media Director and is part of the Integrated Media team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Fulfills all aspects of the paid search discipline across multiple clients with strategy, account setup, activation, tracking, analysis, optimization and client reporting responsibilities.
- Collaborate with other disciplines including paid media, SEO, technology, creative and account service to create comprehensive strategies and ensure best-in-class execution
- Develop compelling ad copy, headlines, and extensions that align with client objectives and resonate with target audiences
- Stay informed of industry changes and trends, proactively providing education and recommendations to internal teams and clients accordingly
- Conduct A/B testing and experiments to improve performance and overall campaign effectiveness
- Optimize campaign performance to achieve client benchmarks
- Compile and present regular reports to clients, highlighting key metrics, analyzing trends, and providing recommendations for improvement
- Utilize TapClicks to monitor delivery and maintain up-to-date dashboards
- Assist with the billing process related to client digital media platform invoicing and reconciliation
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 years experience executing paid search campaigns, with other digital buying platforms being beneficial as well.
- Requirements:
- Expertise in Google AdWords (Search, YouTube, Performance Max) and Microsoft Bing, with minimum of Google Ads certification
- Experience with Google Analytics GA4 & Google Tag Manager
- Others preferred but not required include: TapClicks, The Trade Desk DSP, Paid Social ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat), Search Ads 360, Campaign Manager 360, SpyFu, Vivvix (formerly Kantar), MRI-Simmons
- Is willing to wear many hats, working on a variety of client types (B2C & B2B) and showing enthusiasm to engage with projects of all types
- Is an independent, process-oriented, self-starter with initiative and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
- Persuasive written and verbal communication skills
- Thrives in a team environment and passionate about contributing ideas
- Analytical mindset with experience managing budgets, working with large data sets and evaluating effectiveness of digital campaigns
- Impeccable attention to detail, organization and follow-through
- Highly curious, asks great questions, and listens intently
- Ability to think on your feet and quickly adapt to changing requirements and needs
- Experience working in an ad agency setting is preferred but not required
